About us

In 2019 a new committee took over the organising and running of Swanage Jazz Festival. It was a huge challenge to just try and equal the experience and skills of past organisers. With the help and response from Swanage Town Council and especially the magnificent travelling jazz fans, we managed to put on a show and balance the books. Thank you all very much.

We had a great programme lined up for 2020 but Coronavirus forced us to postpone the Festival for 2020 and 2021.  We were delighted to return with a full programme in 2022 which was very well received.

Having staged the Festival in indoor venues in 2019 and 2022, we are delighted to be returning to Sandpit Field in 2023.  That will give us two 400 capacity venues, both with stunning sea views.  We will continue to use some smaller venues in town.
