Artist Enquiry Form

Thanks for your interest in Swanage Jazz Festival. We are a long-running annual Jazz Festival that takes place on the second weekend in July each year in the seaside town of Swanage, Dorset. We use four or five main venues ranging from 130-450 capacity. We provide top quality PA and monitoring in all venues and we also often offer a house drum kit and acoustic pianos in some venues.

We put on 40-45 bands in the main Festival each year spanning New Orleans to contemporary jazz with a growing emphasis on the latter. We are inundated with requests to perform at the Festival and have a list of over 150 bands wanting to perform. We are a non-profit body run by volunteers so we have limited time to deal with all the enquiries. 

If you wish to be considered to perform at Swanage Jazz Festival, please fill out this enquiry form. We will be assessing all the requests we receive each Autumn and if we are interested in booking you, we will get back to you. If you don’t hear from us, it’s not that we don’t like your idea or music. It’s just that we have too many offers and not enough space in the artistic programme.
